If you are reading this in the northern hemisphere, everyone around you is suddenly back to routine, and there is a strange pressure in the air to have it all figured out before the year runs out. If you are reading this in the southern hemisphere, spring is opening up outside your window and it feels like the world just gave you permission to bloom too.

Wherever you are, September carries the same quiet question, are you building the rest of this year on purpose, or is it going to build itself while you are busy reacting to whatever lands in your inbox.

Here is what I have noticed after years of doing this work with women in business. September is not actually about starting fresh. You are not the woman you were in January anymore, you have eight months of lessons, wins, mistakes and hard earned clarity behind you now, and that is worth more than any clean slate.

The real opportunity this month is not to reset, it is to redirect.

To take everything you have learned since January and point it somewhere sharper for the four months you have left.

That is exactly the energy I watched show up inside our community over the last few weeks. Instead of me handing down another challenge, I asked members to challenge us, and five women took what they know, and turned it into something the rest of us could actually use.

Watching that happen was one of the best parts of my year so far, and it is proof of exactly what I mean about redirecting instead of resetting.

These women were not starting over, they were building forward.

Real Women, Real Challenges, Real Growth

August was a big month for us. We ran the Testimonial Story Challenge, the Behind the Business Challenge and the Lead Generation Challenge, and each one brought a wave of new energy and new connection into the community.

But last week we did something different. I asked our members to challenge us!

I wanted to see what would happen if I handed the mic to the women who have been quietly doing the work, learning the lessons and building the businesses right alongside the rest of us.

Five of our members stepped up beautifully, and this month's spotlight is dedicated to them.

Thank you for the energy, the honesty and the knowledge you poured into our community over the last week ladies.

Watching each of you take something you know deeply and turn it into a challenge for the rest of us is exactly what this community was built on.

Here are the challenges and the ladies behind them:

Tamzyn Wegrostek

Tamzyn is a high performance coach who helps high achievers build the clarity, capacity and structure to perform sustainably without losing themselves in the process, and she brought us the Be Better, Not Busier Challenge. Over three days she walked members through noticing what is actually taking their energy, changing it through removing, reducing, requesting and recovering, and then protecting it with structure that actually sticks. This one hit home for so many of us who confuse being capable with having capacity. You can find Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3 inside the community.

Margo Sparks

Margo is an online business owner who turned her own journey into the Mindset Challenge, three days that moved from mindset to self worth to asking for help. Margo dug into where her old beliefs came from and what it took to let people in, and she was real, honest and generous with her own story the entire way through. Catch Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3 now.

Arianna Luna

Arianna, founder of LAO, helps owner led service businesses gain the reporting clarity and cash visibility they need to make confident financial decisions, and she brought that gift straight to us with the Do Your Numbers Actually Make Sense Challenge. Over three days she took the fear out of financial reports, walking members through checking whether their numbers make sense, finding out where the money is actually going, and asking whether their financials can help them make a real decision. No accounting degree required, just five minutes and some honesty. Find Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3.

Charmaine Cassidy

Charmaine is a PCC accredited life, leadership and business coach with over a thousand hours of experience, trained in Ciq neuroscience and Christian counseling, and she brought her depth straight into the Stop Before You React Challenge. Three days on pausing before responding, noticing the stories we tell ourselves, and asking whether those stories are helping us move forward or keeping us stuck. Grounded, thoughtful and deeply practical, exactly what you would expect from Charmaine. Go through Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3.

Kenchasa Patton

Kenchasa is a faith driven marketing strategist and the founder of She Werkz Marketing, helping women build brand authority, confidence and clarity, and she gave us the Get Clear and Get Seen Challenge. Three days that took the guesswork out of visibility, helping members get clear on who they want to help, why that person needs them, and then turning all of it into one simple post ready to share with the world. Work through Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3.

The Women's Business Community on Skool Updates

The Follow Up Challenge

This week inside the Women's Business Community we are doing the Follow Up Challenge, and I cannot wait to walk through this one with you, because it tackles something I know almost every one of us is quietly sitting on.

Every single one of us has a list of people who showed real interest in what we do and never became a client or a sale, and somewhere between that first conversation and today, life got busy, the message got buried, or the fear of hearing no took over, and the conversation simply never got finished.

This challenge is not about learning some new sales trick or turning yourself into someone you are not. It is about finishing what you already started, because I truly believe most of the sales and clients we are chasing are already sitting in our messages, just waiting on us to go back and pick the conversation up again. Over the next five days we are going to work through cold, warm and hot leads together, we are going to get honest about why we avoid following up in the first place, and I am going to show you exactly what to say and when to say it, so there is no more second guessing or overthinking a message before you send it. By the end of it, you will have a simple system for following up that you can keep using long after this challenge wraps.

Every day inside the challenge includes something to learn, something to do, and a question for you to answer in the comments, so you are working through it in real time with the rest of us and not just sitting on the sidelines reading.

If you have a list of people you keep meaning to message back and just have not, this is your sign to come and do it with us this week inside the Women's Business Community.

Our Weekly Coffee Chats

We run three weekly Coffee Chats inside the community, so we can accommodate the different time zones our members are joining from. I want to remind you what these chats were always meant to be. They were never designed to be structured sessions. They were created as relaxed networking spaces where members can build genuine relationships, share ideas, ask questions, celebrate wins, and support one another.

Some conversations naturally become about marketing. Others about confidence. Sometimes they are about business, and sometimes they are simply about life. That is exactly what I love about them. Every call is shaped by the people who choose to show up that day, rather than following a rigid structure. I wanted to create a space where real conversations could happen naturally, instead of everyone waiting for me to lead. If you have not joined one yet, I would love to see you there.

The Women's Business Community on Skool

Posting into a feed somewhere and hoping an algorithm delivers you to the right people is exhausting, and this year has shown us exactly how unreliable that really is. What actually moves the needle right now is showing up consistently inside a space where people are already paying attention, already engaged, and already looking for what you offer.

That is exactly what the Women's Business Community on Skool was built for, especially in a year like this one.

Inside the community, 1,800+ women are building real audiences, landing clients, and creating genuine opportunities using organic strategies, not ad spend, not algorithm hacks, not overnight tactics. Real visibility built on real relationships, the kind that no platform update can ever take away from you.

Every week inside the community there are live coffee chats and networking events, organic growth strategies and AI-powered content tools, visibility challenges that put your name in front of new audiences, and a space where you are not just learning but actually moving forward alongside women who understand exactly what you are building through, because they are building through it too.

Join us. Show up. Get visible. Get clients.

Recommended Communities

Part of building visible, sustainable businesses is surrounding yourself with the right people and the right resources. Here are a few communities I personally recommend this month:

Amplif-AI Your Business

Inside Amplif-AI members learn how to clarify their message, create human-sounding content, and attract aligned clients using AI tools, prompts, and strategies. If you have been curious about using AI without losing your voice, this is the community to be in.

Minority Women Who Build

Minority Women Who Build is a community for minority women entrepreneurs and professionals to connect, ask questions, share resources, exchange referrals celebrate wins, and open doors for one another. It's a space for women building businesses, careers, brands and new chapters who want genuine connection and practical support.

GenX Creator Lab

Designed specifically for experienced women with decades of knowledge and expertise who are ready to build new income streams using AI, digital products, and faceless content creation. No hype, no fluff, just practical guidance for women who know their value and are ready to monetise it on their own terms.

ThriveSpace+

ThriveSpace+ is a safe, energizing community where purpose-driven professionals connect through honest conversations about the emotional load and corporate life. Through shared experiences, science-backed webinars, inspiring speakers and practical courses, members build greater clarity, confidence, resilience and emotional intelligence so they can move forward with purpose and reach their potential.

Do you want to be Featured here?

This ecosystem was built to give women in business real visibility, not just a place to exist. Through our Advertising Opportunities, you can position your business directly in front of hundreds of thousands of women who are actively building, buying, and looking for trusted services. Whether through the VIP Membership or the Verified Service Provider Directory, this is your opportunity to consistently show up, be seen, and grow your business within a community designed for connection, credibility, and results.

Explore the VIP Membership

The Facebook group is designed to create real visibility for women in business, not endless noise and spam.

That’s why only VIP Members can promote inside the community. It keeps the quality high while giving members consistent exposure to thousands of women who are actively networking, supporting and looking for services, products and collaborations.

If you’re serious about growing your visibility, your audience and your business, VIP Membership was built for you.

It’s designed for women who don’t just want to be part of the conversation, but want to be seen, build momentum, and create real opportunities from their presence.

Join the Verified Service Provider Directory

If you’re looking for more consistent visibility and a way to position yourself with credibility inside the community, the Verified Service Provider Directory was created for that.

It’s a space designed to showcase women who are actively building and showing up in their businesses, giving you ongoing exposure across the ecosystem.

Your business isn’t just listed, it’s placed in an environment where the right people can find you.

It’s there when you’re ready to be seen more intentionally.

This is not about starting over, it is about building forward.

Every woman who stepped up to challenge this community over the last few weeks, every conversation happening in the coffee chats, every follow up someone finally sends this week instead of letting it sit for another month, that is what building forward actually looks like. It is not loud and it does not need a clean slate. It just needs you to keep showing up with what you already know.

If you have been sitting outside this community watching from a distance, September is a good month to stop watching and start building alongside us. You do not need to have it all figured out to belong here, you just need to be ready to keep going.

Come see what happens when a room full of women decide to redirect instead of restart, together.

Join the Women's Business Community today

We would love to have you with us.

With you, every step of the way,

Chantelle Morrison
Founder of the Women’s Business Community
